General
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
You can find information about each treatment on my Treatment Page. If you're still unsure, I'm happy to discuss your options and recommend the most suitable treatment based on your desired result.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes. A patch test is required before treatments. This must be completed 48+ hours before the day of your treatment. If you have any allergies, sensitivities or concerns, please let me know beforehand.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with clean lashes/brows, free from makeup (includes mascara), oils and skincare products around the treatment area. Avoid using strong skincare products or having other treatments around the area immediately beforehand. Any question please ask.
Korean Lash Lift
How long will a Korean Lash Lift last?
Results typically last around 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare. Your lashes will gradually return to their natural shape as they grow out.
The tint applied to the lashes (optional) will not last this long, you can either add mascara or come back for a maintainence appointment. This includes fresh tint and a conditioner to keep them healthy until your next appointment.
Will a Korean Lash Lift suit my lashes?
Every set of lashes is different. During your appointment I'll assess your natural lashes, eye shape and your desired result to choose the most suitable approach. If a treatment isn't suitable, I'll always be honest with you.
What can I do after my Korean Lash Lift?
Your lashes are chemically set, so water, steam and heat won’t make your lift drop. However, excessive heat, steam, moisture or oils can affect the lash condition and reduce the longevity of your lift. For the longest-lasting results, be gentle with your lashes and follow your aftercare advice.
Can I have a Korean Lash Lift if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. However, pregnancy can cause hormonal changes that may make you more sensitive to treatment products. A new patch test is required during pregnancy, even if you’ve had the treatment before. Please let me know before booking so I can ensure the treatment is suitable for you.
Who should NOT get a Korean Lash Lift?
A lash lift may not be suitable if you have a current or recent eye infection, irritated or inflamed eyes, recent eye surgery, or an allergy to the products used. If you’re unsure, please get in touch before booking so I can advise you.
Brows
Will my Brow Lamination look very bold?
Not necessarily. Brow Laminations can be tailored to create anything from a soft, natural finish to a more defined look. We can discuss your desired outcome to achieve the results wanted.
What is the difference between Brow Tint and Brow Stain?
Both add colour and definition, but they give slightly different results and longevity. I'll recommend the most suitable option based on your natural brows and the finish your looking for.
How long will my Brow Lamination last?
Brow lamination typically lasts around 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle and aftercare. I’ll also advise when it’s best to have your brows laminated again to keep them healthy.
Can I have a Brow Treatment whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?
Hormonal changes during pregnancy and breastfeeding can increase skin sensitivity and may affect how your brows respond to treatment. A patch test is required before treatment, and suitability will be assessed individually. Please let me know before booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Who should not get a Brow Treatment?
Brow treatments may not be suitable if you have irritated, broken or inflamed skin, an active skin condition around the brows, a recent eye/skin infection, or a known allergy to any treatment products. Brow lamination may also be unsuitable if the brow hairs are very weak or damaged.
Before & Aftercare
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
It's best to arrive without makeup around the treatment area so I can work on clean lashes and brows. I do always carry out a lash/brow clean to remove any makeup residue or oils but I would recommend no makeup around that area.
What should I avoid before & after treatment?
Before: Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids and strong skincare around the treatment area for 48 hours.
After: Avoid water, steam, heat, sweating, oils and makeup for 24 hours. These won’t make your lash lift drop, but they can affect its longevity. Avoid rubbing or picking the area while it settles.
What if I have any questions or concerns?
Whether this be before, during or after your appointment please don't hesitate to ask any questions or even send me a quick message. I would be happy to answer any questions or give advice on what is best.
